- +5 years management / leadership experience

  • Home medical equipment management experience preferred
  • Demonstrated selfdirected professional with ability to make independent judgments and work autonomously with mínimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working with others, with excellent oral and written communication skills and human relations skills.

SUMMARY


Oversees the day-to-day operations of Serenity Home Medical, cultivates a positive, productive working environment ensuring staff follows policy and procedures and accreditation requirements are continuously met.

Reports to and collaborates with Executive Leadership Team to strategically implement and achieve the Company's vision.


JOB DUTIES

  • Supports the Mission, Vision and Values of Serenity Home Medical
  • Uses effective customer service/interpersonal skills at all times, empowers and educates/trains staff to address daytoday customer service concerns, and responds to and documents customer complaints
  • Provides leadership and support to staff and programs ensuring our customers receive excellent care and service, including planning and conducting weekly meetings to allow for communication and sharing of information. Fosters a positive culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement by providing guidance and mentorship to team members and promoting professional development
  • Develops and monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on operational performance and individual staff performance. Develops departmental and personal goals and objectives. Conducts annual 360 performance reviews with team members, including annual competency assessments. Assists and recommends to Executive Leadership hiring, disciplining and terminating of direct reports
  • Works alongside Office Coordinator regarding staff scheduling and problems related to staffing while ensuring continuity of care, including rotation of backup call. Appoints the individual(s) to be in charge in his/her absence, delineating split responsibilities should they occur.
  • Collaborates with Office Coordinator and Inventory Warehouse Manager to ensure timely delivery of items and maintain safety and regulatory guidelines for respiratory equipment
  • Oversees and directs individual staff orientation needs and education including equipment use, care, and proper documentation
  • Maintains relationships with existing referral sources, especially with respect to Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Center programs
  • Leads and collaborates with the Office Coordinator and Inventory Warehouse Manager with the preparation and maintenance of Serenity's stores and warehouse for all aspects required by accrediting body, including conducting business to meet all accreditation requirements
  • Brings inventory recommendations to the attention of the Inventory Warehouse Manager and CFO
  • Responsible for fiscal management of stores and programs including collaboration with the CFO. Develops budgets and operates within the approved budget.
  • Develops and, with Executive Leadership's approval: implements, policies and procedures consistent with compliance and accepted standards of practice
  • Evaluates existing workflows, systems, and technologies to optimize resource utilization. Implements operational efficiencies and process improvements with collaboration and approval from Executive Leadership
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, and other business partners, negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms for the company. Assists CFO with identifying financing and rebate programs to ensure best pricing on invoicing
  • Prepares regular reports for executive leadership, identifying trends and areas for improvement
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Pay:
$1.00 - $2.00 per year
