Our client, a leading medium-sized company in the pharmaceutical industry, is a true innovator in the development and production of high-quality medicines and has earned an excellent reputation for quality and reliability. To strengthen their team, we are looking for an experienced Head of Procurement (m/f/d) who will drive and optimize the company's procurement strategy.

Your responsibilities:

As Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for the entire procurement activity of the company. Your main tasks will include:

  • Developing and implementing a strategic procurement strategy that supports the company's business goals
  • Identifying and qualifying suppliers and negotiating contracts and terms
  • Ensuring compliance and quality standards in the supply chain
  • Leading and developing the procurement team
  • Continuously optimizing procurement processes and cost structures
  • Working closely with other departments, especially production, logistics, and quality management

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in procurement, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry or a related field
  • Sound knowledge of contract and supplier management
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing employees
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
