Job Overview


Davies Claims North America is looking for an
Information Systems (IS) Support Specialist to join our growing team Reporting to the IS Operations Supervisor, you will provide assistance and advice to teammates and clients using computer software or equipment and support information technology (IT) and other Claims Solutions employees within the company.


To be successful in this role, you need to be detail-oriented, demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, have the ability to manage and prioritize tasks, excel in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with clients and teammates, and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

You must have at least one year of experience in an IT Support, Administrative support, or a similar role.

Additionally, you will need the ability to learn new technologies and areas related to information technology and the insurance industry.

It is preferred that you have an interest in an Information Technology career.

This role is a full-time, office-based position at our Lakewood Ranch office with potential for a hybrid schedule after a specified amount of time.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create daily checks for client checking accounts
  • Data updates and maintenance of systems, including but not limited to, analyze client hierarchy, changes and perform system updates, new user adds for client's access to various systems, add/maintain vendors in claims system, new client setups in various systems
  • Provide first level IT help desk support
  • Monitor tickets and work assignments to meet assigned deadlines and SLAs
  • Logging all service requests and updating tickets as needed
  • Availability to work variable schedule between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Experience and Qualifications
Required

  • One year of administration, customer support, or data management experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Display strong organizational and planning skills
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Possess a teamplayer mindset and demonstrate willingness to collaborate and promote team culture
Preferred

  • AA or BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in the insurance industry or information technology administration
  • Prior use of Zendesk or ServiceNow ticketing systems
