    Summary: As a member of the quality engineering team, you will be helping to develop and enhance our next-generation testing platform. We are as automated as possible and always trying to find new ways to increase speed and efficiency in the platform. You will work closely with development and product teams to release and maintain new features without compromising on quality.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provides quality assurance testing for applications, websites, databases, data, systems, integration, reporting, and processes with a focus on Microsoft Technologies.
    • Conducts a full range of testing tasks including test strategy, plan and script design, execution, and quality documentation for a variety of applications, systems, databases, or websites.
    • Leads and implements defect management solutions for applications, systems, databases, or websites.
    • Reviews application features and functions and verifies test automation solutions.
    • Provides expertise on the quality methodology and recommends testing approaches.
    • Analyzes the evaluation and selection of new quality software solutions and tools.
    • Creates or updates project quality artifacts using disciplined processes, procedures, and standards.
    • Participates in internal initiatives for the implementation, use, and improvement of processes, procedures, guidelines, and metrics for the organization.
    • Provides technical leadership & and mentoring to less senior members on and off the team.
    • Consult with other teams regarding technology solutions for business needs and/or problem resolution. Proactively seeks opportunities to collaborate with other teams on projects and problem escalation.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science
    • 3-5 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer
    • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining test scripts, test cases, and automation frameworks for our web applications and back-end services.
    • Software development/test automation experience using JavaScript, Java, or similar languages.
    • Experience with modern, open-source automation tools such as Cyrpress, Selenium WebDriver, JUnit
    • Experience working with Jira or another story/defect tracker.
    • Experience with TestMo, or another test case management tool.
    • Familiar with common SDLC practices and experience working in an Agile methodology.

    Bonus:

    • Previous hands-on coding experience as a Software Engineer or Software Engineer in Test (SDET).
