Hiring Personal Care Assistant (31 hours a week)

Looking for an experienced caregiver, Monday through Saturday. 4pm to 9pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 3pm to 9pm.

• Provides inhome companionship, medication reminders, and housekeeping services.
• Assists with meal planning, dressing and bathing.
• Assists clients to live in clean, safe environment:
• Documents care given and pertinent observations accurately as directed by the Care Plan/Nursing Supervisor.
• Knows and follows infection control policies including proper hand washing techniques.
• Maintains appropriate communication with the Nursing Supervisor (written and verbal) and with all members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Treats clients and families with respect. Maintains confidentiality.
• Accepts and fulfills assignments
• Participate in Agency Training as needed

Qualifications:

• Be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Demonstrate ability to read, write, and follow a written Plan of Care and document tasks performed.
• Be selfdirected and work with mínimal supervision.
• Demonstrate dependability, tact, patience, and the ability to follow instructions.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal communication skills.
• Have experience in cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping.
• First Aid and CPR Certification
• Able to pass a criminal background check and no history of abuse/neglect

Pay Rate is $16.5 - $17
