DOCUMENT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN

Location:
Kalamazoo, MI

The following hourly pay rates reflect the anticipated base pay for this position:
Student pursuing an Associate-level degree: $17.00 per hour

Student pursuing an Undergraduate-level degree: $22.00 per hour

Student pursing a Graduate-level degree: $36.40 per hour

Student pursuing a Doctorate-level degree: $40.30 per hour


Internship Job Duties:

  • Sort validation binders and documents by category (process technology, product family, etc.).
  • Organize binders and documents on librarytype shelves.
  • Refine current indexing process for the documents so that they are easy to find and readily retrievable.
  • Scan validation binders and other documents to be stored digitally in a document repository.
  • Refine current process for users to check documents in/out from the library easily and efficiently.
  • Develop disaster plan (fire/water protection) for documents in the library.

Internship Qualifications:

  • Good sorting/organization skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of computerbased systems.
  • Lean 5S experience preferred.
