PROJECT SPECIFIC - one to two months of work


Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator/Laborer to help clear downed timber. You must have experience operating a track skid loader and know how to maintain the equipment while operating it.


Duties:

• Moving stumps and root balls to pile for burning with a grapple/root rake attachment
• Filling in holes from pulling the stumps
• Operate a forestry mulching head
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and report any malfunctions
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
• Listen to direction

Experience:

• Proven experience in operating a track loader and attachments
• Familiarity with safety operating a track loader and daily maintenance
• Ability to perform other laborer tasks on the site as needed
• Experience with Caterpillar equipment is preferred

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary


Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour

• Day shift
• Weekends as needed

• Track Loader operation: 2 years (required)

Ability to Commute:

• Eden, MD required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Eden, MD 21822: Relocate before starting work (required)
