Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance to Federal, State & local regulations and conformance to HSE Management System and program requirements.
  • Responsible for direct supervision of HSE staff, ensuring effective field engagement, training, development, coaching, and mentoring for talent management.
  • Analyze HSE trends and develop strategic action plans with Operations Leaders to support continuous improvement of HSE performance.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for regulators, clients, and subcontractors concerning HSErelated issues.
  • Provide support in the development and distribution of HSErelated data for bid packages etc.
  • Support Business Development and Commercial functions in the pursuit of new projects/work through the creation of HSE documentation and attending highlevel customer visits where necessary.
  • Develop and deliver HSErelated reports, presentations, and/or training as requested.
  • Assists in incident investigations, HSE inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
  • Facilitate working groups for HSE systems improvement and special projects.
  • Participate as a member of the Utilities Segment HSE community and drive standardization across assigned region.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science,
or related discipline.

  • 510 years of industry relevant HSE experience required.
  • Must hold or be working toward professional certifications, e.g., PMP, CSP, CIH, CHMM, REM, etc.
  • Detailed understanding of Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem solving ability.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Experience in a fast paced, changing/growing organization.
  • Ability to adapt well to fastpaced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and
strategy.

  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and project management across multiple teams
Salary Range $120K - $150K. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k
