Qc Lab Technician - Linden, United States - JVM Sales

Description

• Keeping laboratory clean and organized (GLP's, GMP's)
• Be able to work in a fast paced laboratory environment
• Conduct daily laboratory tasks. (Such as recording and maintaining notebooks and paperwork, temperatures, and calibration of lab equipment.
• Responsible for environmental monitoring in production and laboratory areas. (including ATP and sponge swabbing)
• Being able to pull incoming materials aseptically for lab testing
• Conduct analytical testing for raw materials and finished products, (salt analysis, moisture, pH, Foss machine, sifting, gas meter, and fat)
• Keeping retention sample areas cleaned and organized.
• Manage inventory of supplies in the laboratories.
• Train new employees on procedures and environmental monitoring
• Report to lab manager
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Bachelor degrees preferred in biology, chemistry, or other scientific field
• Associate degrees are welcomed n related fields with at least some lab experience.
• Knowledge of GMP's and GLP's
• Strong interpersonal communication and attention to detail skills.
• The ability to complete assignments independently as well as part of a team
• Demonstrate good basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Reliable source of transportation is a must
• The ability to follow verbal and written instructions (SOP's and lab manager)
• Good organizational and writing skills

• Paid time off

• High school or equivalent (required)

• Laboratory: 1 year (preferred)
