Custom Industrial Products (CIP) is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as an Accounting Clerk.

The Accounting Clerk will play a vital role in supporting our accounting department in various clerical and administrative tasks.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, data entry, and reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records and documentation.
  • Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in monthend and yearend closing procedures, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Provide support in preparing financial reports and analysis as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform general clerical duties, such as filing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in accounting or finance role is preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay:
$ $23.31 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
