Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team at Pleasant Valley.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating and testing the functional safety (hardware and software) of (programmable) electronic machine systems and process plants in the chemical and process industries within large German chemical and industrial parks.

After a thorough training period, your responsibilities will include examining technical solutions for process control technology, as well as measures for electrical safety and explosion protection.

You will also be responsible for inspecting plants and plant components according to legal and customer-specific requirements.

In addition, you will provide a comprehensive assessment of the safety technology of our customers' process plants in interdisciplinary working groups and offer advice on safety and availability of chemical and process plants.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma degree in engineering, preferably in electrical engineering with a focus on automation technology
  • Previous experience in planning/operating chemical and process plants or in the field of functional safety
  • Knowledge of safety standards (e.g. DIN EN 61511, VDI/VDE 2180, DIN EN 62061, DIN EN) and experience with calculating the failure probability of safety devices is advantageous
  • Confident and professional communication with customers and a marketoriented approach
  • High level of commitment and ability to handle a heavy workload
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • Valid driver's license.
