Job Summary:


Unified Door & Hardware Group is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Production Coordination Manager to lead our Pre-Hung Department.

The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating multiple production lines, ensuring material availability, and meeting customer demand while maintaining effective communication with internal teams and customers.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Schedule multiple production lines based on capacity parameters, material availability, and customer demand, optimizing efficiency and minimizing downtime.
  • Work closely with internal project management teams and customers to ensure job sites are ready for materials prior to production, facilitating smooth project execution.
  • Confirm availability of all materials before initiating production runs, coordinating with procurement and inventory management teams as necessary.
  • Communicate any production backorders to project managers and customers in advance, providing expected recovery dates and maintaining transparency throughout the process.
  • Maintain production and job schedules, promptly updating them as changes occur to ensure accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Interact with customers, project management teams, and the shipping department to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Lead and develop a team of administrators, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field


Experience:


  • Proven experience in scheduling, forecasting, or supply chain management roles, preferably within the manufacturing or construction industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve departmental goals.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:


  • Proficient in production scheduling methodologies, ERP systems, and supply chain principles for seamless coordination between production, procurement, and delivery processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying production schedules, addressing concerns, and providing updates to internal teams, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate teams, foster collaboration, and drive performance excellence in scheduling and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, optimize production schedules, and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Proven ability to identify and solve scheduling challenges, minimizing disruptions, and meeting customer requirements.
  • Customercentric mindset to understand needs, ensure satisfaction, and deliver products on time.
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fastpaced environment.
  • Committed to ongoing process optimization and innovation to enhance scheduling and forecasting practices.
