Senior Accountant
Job Description
The Senior Accountant is an integral part of ACRM's leadership team, delivering excellent support to our patients and colleagues.
This position supervises the accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and additional functions within the ACRM environment.
ACRM seeks an analytical minded, 4-year college graduate responsible for all aspects of our Daily and Monthly Accounting and Receivable cycles.
Responsibilities
:
Cash and Bank Reconciliations
Patient Accounts Receivable Subsidiary System reconciliation to general ledger
Prepaid Assets and related Amortization
Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Subsidiary system, related depreciation for both federal and state tax purposes, and reconciliation of the Fixed Asset Subsidiary system to general ledger.
Lease AccountingSupervision of accounts receivable, patient receivable teams and functions.
Preparation of the monthly Allowance for Insurance Discounts, Bad Debt and other Allowance Accounts
Month-end closing and adjusting general journal entries
Analytical Review of the month-to-date general ledger activity for each month-end
Analytical Review of current year versus prior year and current year versus budgetedfinancial results and explanation of variances
Reduce number of days to close month end
Alert CFO/COO to any unusual trends or activity
Balance Sheet reconciliation and work papers
Respond to audit questions
Member of ACRM's leadership team, interacts with other peers and departments, including CCRM Fertility Network financial, audit & accounting teams
Other responsibilities to be assigned as required

Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree IN ACCOUNTING
Experience Requirements
5+ years General Accounting Experience
2+ years Accounts Payable Experience
Peachtree/Sage Accounting Software experience preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Excellent organizational skills required
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Strong communication skills with team members and external business partners
