Senior Accountant
will be a highly motivated, experienced individual who can support best practices and contribute to financial reporting and process improvement for one of our key business units.
Reporting to the Controller, your primary responsibilities will include participation in the day-to-day billing and customer facing activities, accounting operations, month-end close process, annual audit and special projects as needed.
While this role offers flexibility, it is a requirement to be in our Buckhead office one day a week to work directly with other members of the accounting team.
This is a great opportunity to build your accounting skillset at a growing companyResponsibilities:Process customer sales orders and modifications to existing customer agreementsRun billing activities on monthly basis as well as on demandRespond to the customer billing inquires with 5 star serviceRun collections activities on a daily basisSupport the monthly revenue recognition processProcess bill payments and perform accounts payable reconciliationsPerform month-end close tasks including bank account reconciliations, journal entries, account reviews and balance sheet account reconciliations for prepaids, accruals, fixed assetsSupport annual external audit and tax activitiesProvide support for ad-hoc requests from Senior Leadership team as needed
Skills Needed:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance5 years of Accounting experience.
Experience in technology / SaaS industry strongly preferredExceptional technical accounting, organization, communication skills, strong sense of urgencyKnowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proven problem-solver and critical thinker with exemplary standards of accounting executionStrong Microsoft Office Excel skills a mustFamiliarity with QuickBooks Online and Quickbooks Desktop highly desirableBenefits and Perks:
