    Default job background
    Description
    Company Description

Resultant is a modern consulting firm with a radically different approach to solving problems.

We don't solve problems for our clients. We solve problems with them.

Through outcomes driven by data analytics, technology solutions, digital transformation, and beyond, our team works with clients in both the public and private sectors to solve their most complex challenges. We start by learning as much as we can about who they are, how they work, and what they're striving for so we can feel their problems as our own. Partnering with our clients means their desired outcomes are always top of mind, their challenges and strengths guiding our efforts. We build client-focused relationships before we build unique solutions that blaze past expectations.

Originally founded in Indianapolis as KSM Consulting in 2008, Resultant now employs more than 350 team members who operate from offices around the United States including Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and Odon, Indiana; Columbus, Ohio; Lansing, Michigan; Denver, Colorado; Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia.

We're Resultant. Clients partner with us to see a difference. People join us to make one.

    Job Description

    Health Practice

Resultant is a rapidly growing consulting firm specializing in helping public health, HHS, and healthcare organizations navigate the complex IT, data, and management challenges they face. Our team of experts span the public health, Medicaid, behavioral health, healthcare, and human services domains and is made up of former practitioners who have selected Resultant as their professional homes because they want to use data to make a difference. The experts within each domain provide strategic guidance, innovative solutions, and support to health agencies at the state and local level, as well as commercial and non-profit healthcare organizations with an overarching goal of improving health outcomes. We seek a dynamic and experienced leader to join our Health Practice team and drive our strategy, business development, and offering development.

    Job Description

As the Business Development & Strategy Principal for the Health Practice you will shape and help execute our practice's strategy and drive business development efforts. You will be key in defining our health offerings and expanding our presence in the health sector by collaborating with other subject-matter experts, technical consultants, and external stakeholders. We are looking for a proactive team member to position Resultant as a trusted advisor and innovator in health technology, while supporting Resultant's expansion into new markets by shaping public sector offerings and services. Resultant is focused mainly on the state government market, but federal and local markets are potential targets as well. This role will be the national face of Resultant's health expertise and thought leadership.

    Responsibilities
    • Strategic Leadership: Execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Resultant's Health Practice, including identifying growth opportunities, defining productization strategies, and aligning our services with the evolving needs of the health industry.
    • Business Development: Support business development efforts by identifying and engaging with potential clients, cultivating relationships with key decision-makers, and driving new business opportunities in the health sector with emphasis toward state government and data vendor channel partners.
    • Productization: Apply your expertise to create innovative solutions/offers/services that address the unique challenges faced by government agencies. Work closely with Resultant productization and marketing efforts.
    • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong executive-level client relationships within the health sector, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying opportunities for service expansion.
    • Data Standards Governance: Stay current with data standards and interoperability in the health technology landscape, advising clients on best practices and strategies.
    • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Resultant to ensure the successful delivery of health projects and solutions.
    • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform our health practice's strategy and offerings.
    Examples of Thought Leadership

Here are some examples of the types of thought leadership that this role is expected to provide:
    • Tracking where target states are in their public health data modernization journey and identifying opportunities for Resultant to engage
    • Aligning organizational and business transformations with public health IT modernization efforts
    • Articulating the vision for community information exchanges (CIEs) and the incorporation of social determinants of health (SDOH) / health related social needs (HRSNs)
    • Developing a data modernization strategy for behavioral health agencies and non-profit behavioral health associations
    • Crafting a vision for Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) data modernization and decision support system road maps
    • Bringing a perspective on improving governance and data sharing across agencies and localities to improve health and social determinants of health outcomes
    • Identifying health and human services enterprise opportunities for collaboration to improve customer experience and reduce duplicative IT investments
    • Work with public health insurance plans on business-development and data analytics strategy
    • Support government services companies on their growth and digital strategies
    • Counsel multiple communities and non-profit organizations on effective, sustainable, and systems-level responses to addressing social determinants of health, and unmet need for behavioral health and substance use services
    • Identify how to use federal and grant funding, including recent federal stimulus bills to achieve outcomes for communities.
How You Will Know You Are Successful

Success in this role can be measured by a combination of key performance indicators (KPIs) and the contribution toward achieving an aggressive growth rate for the education practice. Here's how success would be determined:
    • Business Development Achievement: Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets for the health practice, as outlined in the growth strategy. This would include tracking and closing new client contracts, expanding existing client relationships, and securing strategic partnerships.
    • Market Expansion: Expanding Resultant's presence in the health sector by entering new markets or expanding service offerings to existing markets. Growth in the number of net new clients and projects within the health practice would demonstrate success.
    • Productization Success: Successfully developing and launching new offerings and services tailored to the health sector. The adoption and impact of these products within government agencies would be key metrics.
    • Strategic Initiatives: Achieving key milestones in the health practice's strategic plan, such as the development of innovative solutions, the establishment of thought leadership in the industry, and the growth of our partner ecosystem.
    • Team Performance: Ensuring that the team under your leadership is meeting its goals and objectives. This includes tracking the team's contributions to business development, product development, and overall strategic execution.
    • Growth Rate Contribution: The ultimate measure of success is driving to the targeted 30% growth rate for yoy sales in the health practice. This would involve regularly tracking revenue growth and assessing the pace at which the practice is approaching this ambitious goal.
    • Market Analysis: Providing valuable insights into industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform the health practice's strategy and ensure it remains aligned with market demands.
    • Thought Leadership: Establishing yourself and Resultant as thought leaders in the health sector. This can be measured through speaking engagements at conferences, published articles, and recognition within the industry.
