Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations.

As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that our facilities are clean and well-maintained.

This is a leadership role within the hospitality industry, requiring strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.


Duties:


  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring that they adhere to established cleaning procedures and standards
  • Manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and backofhouse areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient communication and collaboration
  • Oversee laundry operations, including linen inventory, laundering processes, and maintenance of laundry equipment
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor budgetary constraints and control costs related to housekeeping supplies and labor expenses

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or similar hospitality setting
  • Strong knowledge of custodial practices, commercial cleaning techniques, and industry standards
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills to interact with staff at all levels as well as guests
  • Proficient computer skills for managing schedules, inventory, and reports
