Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee our housekeeping operations.

As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that our facilities are clean and well-maintained.

This is a leadership role within the hospitality industry, requiring strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.

Duties:

Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring that they adhere to established cleaning procedures and standards
Manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and backofhouse areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations
Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient communication and collaboration
Oversee laundry operations, including linen inventory, laundering processes, and maintenance of laundry equipment
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity
Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner
Monitor budgetary constraints and control costs related to housekeeping supplies and labor expenses

Qualifications:

Previous experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or similar hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of custodial practices, commercial cleaning techniques, and industry standards
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
Effective communication skills to interact with staff at all levels as well as guests
Proficient computer skills for managing schedules, inventory, and reports
