The YMCA of the Greater Tri-Valley is hiring for multiple positions for our "Y Care" program, which is a licensed before and after school program operating in the Rome, Oneida, Whitesboro, Stockbridge, VVS, Waterville, NYMills and other Central NY and Mohawk Valley elementary schools.
We are seeking qualified applicants who enjoy working with children, implement lesson plans, use positive reinforcement, and able to comply with NYS OCFS regulations.
We have openings for the following:
Regional NH/Whitesboro FT Coordinator position, site directors in Oneida, Rome, Whitesboro and in between, Group Leaders and Site Assistants.
Requirements:
Site Director/Multi-Site Director:
Associates or higher in Education, Child Development, Recreation or related field (or 2 years of college with 18 credit hours in Education or Child Development or related filed) and 1 year supervising adults in a child care setting and 2 years supervising children.
(Education can be exchanged for curent NYS Children's Program Administrator Credential, School Age Child Care Credential or other credential deemed appropreate to SACC development)Group Leader:
Needs high school diploma and experience supervising children
Site Assistant:
High School diploma or 1 year supervising children
