Job summary
We are seeking a qualified Billing Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will evaluate Revenue Cycle outcomes and recommend opportunities for improvement. They will work collaboratively with the Revenue Cycle Leadership Team to ensure established workflows and procedures are implemented.The Billing Auditor will also work closely with staff and stakeholders to establish and maintain collaborative relationships. Essential Functions include auditing charge capture, claims scrubbing, sliding fee discount practices; maintaining effective approach to discover root causes of denials;
Reporting trends findings opportunities for improvement detailing findings high-risk items that leaders should be monitoring developing corrective action plans including work queues which identify sequence activities needed ensuring identified issues resolved accurately timely manner meet deadlines recommending modifications established practices procedures system functionality based on findings improve workflows standardize processes maximize reimbursement,
- Supports documentation maintenance Revenue Cycle Standard Operating Procedures SOPs
- Supports documentation of Revenue Cycle training materials presentations
- Works collaboratively with the Revenue Cycle Leadership ensure effective consistent timely communication across affiliates
- Builds manages relationships Payers identify resolve claim billing processing issues
