    We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA office.

    Job Summary


    As a member of the Revenue team, you will assist in the processing of revenue-related activities such as invoicing and customer orders, as well as reconciling revenue-related balance sheet accounts and revenue accounts.

    This person will work cross functionally with Global Order Management and Renewals, as well as other related areas as needed.

    The Staff Revenue Accountant position will primarily provide support to the Sr. Revenue Accounting Manager in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance department.

    This position requires solid skills in financial accounting, reporting, audit, and compliance and the ability to work in a diverse, fast-paced technology environment.

    Duties And Responsibilities


    Review of customer orders and related documents to determine the correct documentation is collected and processed by the order management team and the renewals team.

    Process a high volume of customer invoices out of the Salesforce Billing system, which includes identifying and addressing any potential issues that may arise.

    Perform month-end closing activities including journals and account reconciliations that relate to revenue, unbilled A/R, deferred revenue, and deferred cost.

    Interact with sales, accounting, renewals, and order management to ensure identification and documentation of all invoicing related matters.

    Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and year end close information and respond to all audit requests related to orders and invoicing.

    Aid and assist in the integration of revenue, accounts receivable and billing activities for future acquisitions.

    Required Qualifications


    Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or FinanceMinimum 1-3 years of invoicing and order processing experienceExcellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

    MS Excel skills is requiredExtremely detail oriented, problem solver, and takes accountability for work performedProfessional self-starter, able to work independently, and has strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with othersWillingness to take on more responsibilities as neededAbility to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, and personal judgmentExperience with ERP systems required; NetSuite and Salesforce is a plus

    This position offers a total compensation range of $75,800.00 to $85, inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's compensation range for this position.

    Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
