This position is located in the city of Sacramento.
This is a 12-month limited term position that may be extended and/or may become permanent pending budget approval.
- Under the general direction of the Office of Legislation and Communications (L&C) Deputy Director, the Staff Services Manager I, Specialist (SSM I) will act as the special projects manager and will have oversight and administration of the Department of Rehabilitation's (DOR) execution and implementation of a departmentwide rebrand/marketing initiative and a rebrand of the vocational rehabilitation division. The SSM I is responsible for all activities related to the scope, schedule, budget, and planning for delivery of the rebrand project initiatives and will advise the L&C Deputy Director on the coordination, monitoring, and analysis of all project phases. Using project management tools, the SSM I will perform complex, analytical duties and oversee daily operations of the rebrand initiatives and ensure that project deliverables are completed on time.
