Contract: 2+ Months


Shift:
Monday-Friday: 8.00 am-4.00 pm


Pay Rate:
$ 21.79/Hr.


Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team.

As a Phlebotomist, you will play a crucial role in the healthcare field by collecting blood samples from patients for diagnostic testing and analysis.

Your attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to provide exceptional patient care will contribute to the overall success of our laboratory.


Duties:


  • Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients
  • Follow proper protocols and maintain aseptic technique during blood collection
  • Label and properly store collected specimens for laboratory testing
  • Verify patient information and ensure accurate labeling of specimens
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and other relevant data
  • Assist in the maintenance and organization of laboratory supplies and equipment
  • Provide exceptional patient service by addressing any concerns or questions during the phlebotomy process
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient specimen collection and delivery

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program
  • Current certification as a Phlebotomist (CPT)
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures
  • Proficient in venipuncture techniques and laboratory techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and labeling
  • Compassionate demeanor with a focus on providing exceptional patient care
