THE POWER OF POSSIBILITY

For our headquarters in the World Heritage city of Bamberg, we are now looking for a Balance Specialist (m/f/d) who is ready for new challenges.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

International contact person within the SPS group as a specialist for SAP R3/S4 HANA
Collaboration with the financial specialists of the group also regarding the group consolidation tool, international harmonization, and countryspecific (DE) regulations (tax issues, etc.)
Active participation in defining and implementing projects in the financial area (processes, structures, and systems)
Acting as a substitute for the Head of Financial Accounting
Senior finance contact for the management teams (CH and DE)
Balancing and ensuring all relevant bookings in the area of general ledger accounting, including account reconciliation
Preparation of individual financial statements (monthly and annual) for local units (IFRS, Local GAAP)
Preparation of monthly group reporting, including intercompany reconciliation and analysis
Competent contact person for auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government representatives
Preparation of documentation

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

Commercial education in financial accounting and successful completion of further training as a certified accountant or successful completion of studies in the field of finance/accounting
Several years of professional experience
High selfmotivation for continuous personal development and improvement of our processes and systems in the financial accounting environment
Indepth knowledge of IFR
