Description
The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

Starting on September 1st, 2024, we are looking for you to join our 3.5-year apprenticeship program as a Mechatronics Technician for Agricultural and Construction Machinery (m/f/d) at our location in Augsburg, within the DB Bahnbau Group GmbH. The vocational school is located in Augsburg and in the second year of training, in Mindelheim.
What to expect during your apprenticeship:
  • You will work with specialized tools in modern workshops
  • Maintenance, repair, and upkeep of track machines, dual-purpose excavators, and earthmoving equipment
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems
  • You will learn how to expertly fix technical issues
Your profile:
  • You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) your education
  • You have a strong understanding of math and physics
  • You have good manual dexterity and spatial awareness
  • You are passionate about vehicles and technology
  • You are known for your meticulous and reliable work ethic
