Professional for Waste Management and Recycling or Chemical Technician/Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) at Watterson Park

We are currently looking for a full-time or part-time professional for waste management and recycling or chemical technician/laboratory technician (m/f/d) to join our team at Watterson Park for a fixed term of two years in the Department of Waste Management and Cleaning.

What You Will Do

Acceptance of waste and hazardous materials at the recycling centers of AWISTA GmbH
Customer consultation at the locations
Sorting of waste and preparation for environmentally friendly disposal
Operation of the press after training
Processing of waste for transport
Examination and fulfillment of waste management obligations
Documentation of control and weighing activities
Handling of cash register
Full-time position spread over a four-day week; part-time position with fewer days

What We Require

Completed vocational training as a professional for waste management and recycling (formerly waste disposal specialist) with a specialization in waste management, chemical technician, laboratory technician or equivalent
Knowledge of waste classification and waste management obligations or willingness to acquire them quickly
Ideally, first professional
