Our work depends on a Windows Field Technician to provide technical support services for the various C4S capabilities onboard Military Sealift Command (MSC) ships in Chesapeake, VA.


HOW OUR WINDOWS FIELD TECHNICIAN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT- You will be responsible for direct technical work on projects and shipboard installations.- You will operate, maintain, configure, troubleshoot, and repair IT and end-user systems devices, cables, components, software and connectivity.- You will participate in the creation.

Update and maintenance of system SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)- Coordinates with the contractor's C4S Lead and Government user representatives to ensure accurate solutions and user satisfaction on technical matters.- Travels locally and CONUS/OCONUS to perform break/fix and upgrades.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (required):

  • Security Clearance Level: Secret clearance (Interim Secret acceptable)

Required Experience: 5+ years- Required

Certifications:

Security + CE certification- Education: High School diploma- Required Technical Skills: Windows systems administration, software and hardware troubleshooting and end-user support; Windows OS training- Location: Onsite in Chesapeake, VA-
Travel Requirement: 25% - 50% CONUS and OCONUS travel required.- US Citizenship Required
