SUMMARY OF POSITION:


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Draft and distribute press releases for programming around key cultural events/holidays, programming anniversaries, genres and more
  • Maintain the coverage tracker and social media tracker
  • Establish relationships with up and coming press through frequent communication, pitching of efforts, and elevation of team priorities
  • Track press coverage and industry news to create coverage reports daily
  • Liaise with Media Relations, Awards, Events, and more to maintain the department's calendar of upcoming initiatives
  • Competitive analysis reports
  • Update misc. team tracking documents and create wrap up reports
  • Other misc. tasks in support of the Streaming Comms team

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, or related fields required
  • Must have strong writing skills, and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Previous experience in a communications or marketing firm, media or technology company helpful
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Must have a passion for storytelling, and a constant curiosity to learn new skills

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:


  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring ontime delivery of quality deliverables.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation and problemsolving skills required; knowledge of AP Style a plus.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:


  • Have excellent time management skills, including the ability to balance multiple projects
  • Tactful in resolving problems
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Able to work under strict time constraints and meet deadlines
  • A team player with the ability to adapt to a variety of situations and work effectively with stakeholders across the company

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and conduct oneself in a professional/courteous manner

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance.

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees.


Pay Range:
$43, $80,606.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short
- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
