    Description
    Typical task breakdown:
    1. Creating and/or Updating test and development plans for autonomous haul truck testing
    2. Executing testing on autonomous trucks
    3. Analyzing test data
    4. Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, or software issues for autonomous haul trucks
    5. Thoroughly documenting and communicating issues found during testing
    6. Writing test reports and giving recommendations based on testing experience
    Interaction with team:

    1. Collaboration through in-person or virtual meetings, email, instant messaging, or face to face communication
    2. A handoff meeting is held each day to prep 2nd shift on work and priorities for testing that night
    Work environment:

    1. Hot, dry, dusty work environment that is comparable to working in Mining Applications
    2. Work site is a remote building on the property

    Education & Experience Required:
    1. Requires a bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science curriculum or in lieu of a degree experience in test or development of control systems, vehicles, engines, or technologies such as autonomy
    Technical Skills

    (Required)

    1. Computer literate (windows operating system)
    2. Troubleshooting issues in complex systems
    (Desired)

    1. Ubuntu or Linux operating systems
    2. Test planning/documentation
    3. Electrical schematics
    4. Autonomous systems such as perception, planning, or positioning
    Soft Skills

    1. Problem Solving
