JOB SUMMARY
Manager of the Member Billing Services team, reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer. The Manager of Member Billing Services will directly supervise a team of billing staff. This job requires an experienced and efficient manager who also has excellent people skills.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Manage the Member Billing Services team by providing supervisory guidance to staff
- Work with Chief Strategy Officer to create and implement staff development plans
- Train new staff members
- Evaluate employee performance and lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
- Adjusts department priorities to reflect changing member trends and short
- Daily review of business metrics and report to the Chief Strategy Officer
- Understand and implement TPA Premium Billing guidelines within the Department and ensure Compliance Bulletins regarding Premium Billing are communicated and adhered to by staff
- Conduct Transaction Auditing on a quarterly cadence
- Handle Escalated Member Billing Calls
- Work with team to handle billing transaction processing
- Run Adhoc Reports
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- 5 years of supervision experience, preferably within Membership, TPA, or the Insurance Industry
- Demonstrated experience in managing people
- Ability to review data and discern outliers with a proactive approach to resolve
- Communication skills
- Ability to Motivate staff
- Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Stress Management skills
- Aptitude in decisionmaking and problemsolving
- College Degree from a fouryear Institution
- Life and Health license must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Obtain a LOMA ACS Certificate within 3 years of hire
