Description
Install new mechanical, electrical or electronic systems and repair or convert existing equipment to new uses. Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and electronic power drives and control systems on heavy mechanical equipment (troubleshooting).

Key Functions

  • Experience maintaining and repairing Electrical, Mechanical, & Hydraulic systems/components in these machines:
  • Mazak
  • Mazatrol
  • Mitsubishi
  • Siemens Control
  • Mori Seiki
  • QEM
  • Nagel TBT
  • Schedule & perform maintenance on all NC and manual equipment with no supervision.
  • Schedule & perform repairs on all NC and manual equipment including multiaxis lathes and mills.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machines using written instructions and a checklist.
  • Assist in the installation of new mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Maintain equipment according to procedures, reporting problems or deviations.
  • Use of all associated hand tools and automated or semiautomated equipment.
  • Ability to train others in functional areas. Assists and prepares detailed reports on maintenance activities.
  • Create preventive maintenance checklists for operators to follow.
  • Participate in prejob and toolbox meetings with crew members.
  • Wear PPE at all times and observe health, safety, and environmental policies.

  • Troubleshoot, Repair, Replace

  • PLCs (Programmable Logic Controller), Servo Drives, MRJs (Mitsubishi Regional Jet), and other Mitsubishi & Siemens electronics.
  • Know/understand what the error codes mean and how to address them.
  • Mechanical


  • Troubleshoot, Repair, Replace
- mechanical, Hydraulic, and electric components for Mazak and Nagel Machines.

i. Mazak is a must.

  • Know/understand how to modify axis parameters on Mazak 5 axis Mill & Turn Center Machines in order to ensure squareness.
ii. Nagel is a secondary.

  • Know/understand what the error codes mean and how to address them.

$ $30.00 per hour
