Employee for administrative tasks in sewer inventory protection BesGr A 9 LBesO (career group 1) or EG 9a TVöD for the Düsseldorf Sewerage Company With over 500 employees, the Düsseldorf Sewerage Company (SEBD) is responsible for the disposal and treatment of wastewater in the Düsseldorf area.

This includes the operation of two large sewage treatment plants, as well as a network of over kilometers of sewer pipes, 150 pumping stations, and other facilities.

In the Basic Planning department, you will contribute to the protection of existing sewer pipes and other drainage structures during construction projects by third parties in public areas (such as road construction, installation of utility or telecommunications lines).


Your tasks:

You will organize incoming construction project documents in public areas and be responsible for data and document management, including building and maintaining a database.

You will review submitted project documents for potential impact on drainage systems and completeness for technical review. You will process recurring applications and issue permits or conditions. You will provide information on public sewer systems or assist in organizing automated information requests.

You will create and maintain an application in a geographic information system (GIS) for recording sewer crossing points with external utility providers.

You will serve as the organizational interface between SEBD and third parties regarding sewer inventory protection and participate in interdepartmental coordination meetings.


Your profile:
Administrative specialist, administrative assistant, or equivalent qualification. Good IT skills (MS Office applications), with knowledge of geographic information systems preferred
