The Remenhof has been successfully supporting young people for over a hundred years. The core of our work is providing full-time, part-time, and outpatient support for children and adolescents in and around Braunschweig. We offer differentiated assistance in our youth residential groups, day groups, individual apartments, foster homes, and our special school for emotional and social development, and we support children, adolescents, and their families in challenging situations. We work with heart and mind, providing secure relationships and professional support. Our goal is to find solutions, and a solution-oriented approach is the foundation of our work. We create quality for young people and their families by integrating life, learning, and work, preparing them for the challenges of everyday life.

Your tasks:

  • Teaching as a class teacher in small classes
  • Close cooperation with school management, school social workers, and our facilities and authorities
  • Collaboration with parents, external partners, and authorities, such as youth welfare offices
  • Participation in school trips and events
  • Contribution to the conceptual development of the school

We expect:

  • Completed degree in special education, teaching at primary, secondary, or high school level, or vocational school
  • Interest in teaching "unique" children and adolescents
  • Interest in further training
