Therapist, Full-time (Peculiar, MO.)
Are you looking for the opportunity to be part of a mission-driven Christ-centered team? Do you enjoy providing therapy to youth and their families? If you answered yes to these questions, the Therapist Full-Time position at our campuses in Peculiar, MO.
You would be providing individual, family and group therapy to youth in state custody due to abuse/neglect in our residential programs, Family Foster Care Program, Treatment Family Care Program, and other clients as assigned.
Primary Position Responsibilities:
Develop positive relationships with clients and team members
Facilitate initiation of care
Conduct therapeutic assessments, treatment plans, and treatment progress reports
Manage crisis intervention as needed and provide referrals for community resources
Support the Agency's trauma-informed model, Trust-Based Relational Intervention
Therapy is provided in person (in-office or in-home) in most instances, but can be virtual as needed
Perks of this position:

. Initial and on-going training in trauma-informed care and other subjects pertinent to job
Excellent supervisory support from Clinical Services Director
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Masters in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or closely related field
LPC or LCSW, or currently eligible for licensing in the State of Missouri
. Minimum of two year relevant counseling experience required
Training and experience in trauma-related counseling and crisis intervention a plus
. MBCH Children and Family Ministries is a non-profit Christian organization that is seeking candidates who share our Christian faith, values, and ministry focus.
Bilinqual is preferred.
