  • Handle all accounting needs for MDE North America, including all financial reporting._
  • ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES_
  • 1. Oversee and ensure the accuracy of the full cycle of accounting duties in NetSuite and other supporting systems._
  • 2. Coach, guide, and mentor others who make entries in our accounting system. Understand the operations of our business units and maintain ongoing communication with departmental leaders to ensure best practices in recordkeeping and reporting._
  • 3. Oversee system integration related to NetSuite, including manufacturing software, HRIS, POS, and scheduling software. Ensure software interfaces correctly and efficiently for proper reporting and user functionality._
  • 4. Prepare and maintain compliance with all taxing authorities._
  • 5. Oversee all cash handling and payment/receipt procedures._
  • 6. Manage all banking needs in respect to treasury management, including monthly reconciliation, monitoring, and loan management._
  • 7. Manage all aspects of the standard cost system, including tracking biweekly inventory and COGS, maintaining physical inventory and cycle counts, generating productline analysis, and reporting on margins and periodic variances._
  • 8. Oversee all General Ledger (GL) activity._
  • 9. Analyze the trial balance and ensure accuracy._
  • 10. Ensure all intercompany (I/C) accounts and activities reconcile on an ongoing basis._
  • 11. Prepare and ensure the accuracy of all financial statements on a monthly basis, including Profit & Loss (P&L), Balance Sheet (B/S), and Cash Flow Statement (CFS)._
  • 12. Prepare other ad hoc reports as requested by upper management, such as jobcost reports and sales reports._
  • 13. Manage other reports such as cash trend and cash flow forecast (e.g., maintenance expense)._
  • 14. Create consolidated and consolidating financial statements._
  • 15. Forecast tax implications and cash demand for federal taxes._
  • 16. Ensure a 5day close._
  • 17. Prepare monthend summaries regarding expense variances, profitability, and trends._
  • 18. Assist the CFO in continually scrutinizing expenses and bookkeeping procedures._
  • 19. Serve as a NetSuite Administrator._
  • 20. Assist other team members when necessary._
  • 21. Communicate needs with department heads to ensure procedures are followed for accurate and timely transaction recording._
  • 22. Maintain all business records and compliance, including contracts, fleet, and equipment._
  • 23. Observe safety and security standards._
  • 24. Perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of MDE North America._
  • QUALIFICATIONS_
  • Education and/or Experience:_
  • NetSuite experience required. _
  • 7+ years of accounting experience. _
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or related field required. _
  • CPA preferred. _
  • Must be mathematically analytical, able to generate accurate financial forecasting models and performance assessment tools. _
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with emotional resilience and a positive attitude. _
  • Ability to relate and communicate effectively with a diverse workforce. _
  • Professionalism and absolute confidentiality are a must. _
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through to completion. _
  • Active communicator in hearing the needs of internal and external customers and providing solutions. _
  • Collaborative consensus builder who works well with others. _

  • Food Handler Certification required. _
  • Language Skills:_
