    Staff Pharmacist - Hospital Outpatient

    Location:
    Macomb, IL


    About the Position:
    McDonough District Hospital is seeking two dedicated Staff Pharmacists to join our Outpatient Pharmacy team. This is a direct hire opportunity with the chance for growth and advancement within our organization.

    As a Staff Pharmacist, you will primarily work in our Outpatient Hospital Retail setting but will also receive training for Long-Term Care (LTC) and Inpatient Hospital environments.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform order entry using Pioneer Rx system
    • Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles
    • Provide pharmaceutical care to outpatients
    • Assist in training for LTC and inpatient pharmacy duties

    Schedule:

    • Rotating 8hour shifts
    • Rotating weekends, nights, and holidays

    Requirements:

    • Previous retail pharmacy experience
    • Willingness to be crosstrained in LTC and inpatient pharmacy settings
    • Valid Illinois pharmacy license
