We're excited to announce an opportunity for a diligent and passionate Outpatient Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Macomb, Illinois. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a difference in the lives of patients.

    Job Description: As an Outpatient Pharmacy Technician, you will support the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient service and a high level of patient satisfaction. This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and collaborates closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
    • Manage medication inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and proper storage conditions.
    • Process prescriptions using computer software, and maintain accurate patient records.
    • Provide excellent customer service, handling inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
    • Comply with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and pharmacy policies.
    • Participate in pharmacy health initiatives and patient education programs.

    Pharmacy Hours:

    • Monday-Friday: 9:00am - 9:00pm
    • Saturday/Sunday:9:00am - 5:00pm

    Shift:

    • Rotating 8 hour shifts
    • Rotating weekends, nights and holidays.

    Requirements:

    • Retail pharmacy experience.
    • Willing to be cross trained in LTC and inpatient.
    • ILpharmacy technicianlicense.
