- Drivers:
- Plan and dispatch drivers for optimal efficiency and timely delivery.
- Ensure all paperwork is scanned in or handed in according to company procedures.
- Review drive cam videos and provide coaching and feedback to drivers as needed.
- Ensure all monthly safety videos are completed by drivers.
- Handle breakdowns called in by drivers for both tractor and trailers, coordinating with customer personnel for trailer breakdowns.
- Complete payroll, including hours and accessorial pay for drivers.
- Dedicated Customer:
- Maintain a positive working relationship with dedicated customer personnel at all four plants, including customer service, transportation managers, and plant managers.
- Loads and Tenders:
- Confirm all loads are tendered over via EDI and accept them, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Create loads in the event of dedicated customer cannot tender the load.
- Close all loads by end of day (EOD), either by the driver or the Driver Manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred
- Proven experience in transportation management or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with drivers, Mauser personnel, and other stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in transportation management software and EDI systems preferred.
