This role functions as the Faculty Personnel Specialist in the Leeds School of Business.The Faculty Personnel Specialist partners closely with the HR administrator and the Senior Associate Dean for Faculty and Research.
This position involves coordinating tasks such as reappointment process for Leeds instructors in coordination with division chairs regarding instructor reappointments.
Prepare documentation for any needed material related to faculty personnel actions.
,- Liaison for Leeds faculty Reappointment Promotion Tenure Sabbaticals ,Identify faculty candidates for promotion reappointment post tenure review make appropriate notification Prepare Annual Personnel Actions PUEC Members documents Ensure continuous communication to faculty regarding upcoming due dates next process steps Interpretprepare policies regulations procedures associated with promotion post tenure review communicate these policies interpretations effectively staff program participants Be responsible preparation e-dossiers college review submission campus Office Faculty Affairs Coordinate sabbatical process Main liaison campus Office Faculty Affairs matters Responsible voting process all Leeds faculty personnel actions In coordination prepare maintain publish timelines calendar including comprehensive review reappointment promotion tenure other college timelines affecting Leeds faculty Support Senior Associate Dean ad hoc needs related to faculty personnel actions Maintain facultypersonnel action tracker ensure alignment when eligiblerequired complete each career action Ensure digital files remain updated Manage administrative aspects annual merit evaluations Partner Division chairs provide guidance requirements needs relating evaluate divisions Deans reviews FCQ publication data Assist Senior Associate Dean postevaluation analysis Submit merit ratings Provosts Office Confirm facultymember appointments upcoming year Work faculypartners recruitment posting informational notices annual appointments Complete informational postings new admin appointments created available midyear Followup HR Administrator delegated tasks achieved Perform ad hoc duties support wider HR team.
