Description

Under the guidance and supervision of the program manager the Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the UCSF Public Psychiatry Fellowship and DPH Public Psychiatry Administrative Fellowship.

The incumbent will assist with fellowship recruitment and onboarding, as well as scheduling and coordinating the weekly fellowship didactics; quarterly workshops, as well as, organizing various field trips throughout the year.

The incumbent will assist with maintaining placement site contracts, Memorandum of Understanding, and Plan of Actions, as well as, assisting with gathering and analyzing multiple budgets for the fellowship.

The incumbent will organize and plan various fellowship events; coordinate space and IT needs; and maintain the fellowship website and collaborative learning environment.

The Administrative Assistant will serve as the primary liaison for PPF faculty, fellows, SFDPH partners, and clinic sites.


For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

  • ZSFG is dedicated to providing services that integrates medical, psychiatric, and addiction treatment. ZSFG is the largest provider of acute psychiatric care and the only San Francisco provider of psychiatric emergency care.
    Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related area and one year of expeience or equivalent experience / training.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of faculty and staff verbally and in writing.
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask with demanding timeframes.
  • Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using UCSF internal systems.
