Game Masters are the face of our company by welcoming and guiding guests with a smile throughout their entire experience with us Contrary to popular belief, Game Master positions have nothing to do with being a "gamer" and everything to do with providing a 6-star guest experience.

Heavily based on social skills, Game Masters must have the ability to be an enthusiastic, pleasant guide and make genuine connections with guests by being a fun, helpful "host" in the lighthearted and exciting atmosphere that Escapism Escape Rooms provides.

As a Game Master at Escapism, you will

Set the tone for every experience by...

  • Hyping up our players for their adventure
  • Communicating rules, guidelines, and answering questions in an exciting way
Accurately guide and assist your team by...

  • Being alert, sharp, and focused on your team's progress through monitors in our control room
  • Surveying/adapting to different situations and personality types in order to provide the service needed in the form of giving "hints" or "clues" to guide players along the way.
Foster the fun and immersive experience for guests by...

  • Becoming knowledgeable in all aspects of the position, immersing yourself and guests into our world through our storylines and characters in our episodes.
  • Ending all experiences with a high note whether the team has success or not. _(Such as celebrating victories with cheering or giving words of encouragement for the "you were so close" teams)_
Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to
- _Greet and check-in guests for their games_
- _Provide enthusiastic pre-game instructions to small and large groups_
- _Manage in-game play (i.e., control station, offering clues, role-playing, etc.)_
- _Provide post-game outro (i.e., taking group photos, retail sales, etc.)_
- _Quickly and accurately reset game room_
- _Maintain facility/props (repairing and/or reporting damage, wear, etc.)_
- _Answer customer questions, book reservations, and other guest relations (over-the-phone and in-person)_
- _Perform opening and closing duties (upon eligibility/assignment)_
- _General cleaning (i.e., vacuuming, sanitizing and cleaning rooms/props, bathrooms, etc.)_
- _Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)_


Qualifications and Skills:
- _Customer service oriented

- _Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to articulate clearly_

- _Available to work weekends and evenings_
