    Are you a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) seeking an exciting opportunity in the field of home health? Millennium Home Care, a leading provider of healthcare services, is searching for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Occupational Therapist Assistant. Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families


    Responsibilities:

    Assist the Occupational Therapist in conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to determine their functional limitations and goals.

    Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist in developing personalized treatment plans based on patients' individual needs and goals.

    Provide hands-on therapy to patients in their homes, assisting them in improving their functional abilities and achieving a higher level of independence.

    Guide patients and their families on adaptive equipment, techniques, and exercises to enhance their quality of life.

    Work closely with the Occupational Therapist and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.

    Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.

    Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance your skills and stay updated with the latest advancements in occupational therapy.

    Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.

    Qualifications:

    Valid license as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) in the state of Florida.

    Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.

    Solid understanding of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and best practices.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

    Ability to work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist and assist in delivering therapy services.

    Proficiency in documenting patient progress and treatment plans using electronic medical records (EMR).

    Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to patients' homes.
