Are you skilled in working with metal and enjoy hands-on work? Then you can complete the training to become a specialist in metal technology at FSB within two years.

Specialists in metal technology work with components. They produce individual parts using manual and mechanical manufacturing processes (e.g. sawing, milling, turning, and drilling) and assemble manufactured parts or assemblies, while also checking the quality of the parts and end products. They also maintain and repair the machines necessary for production.
During the training, you will learn about the structure and organization of the training company.

You will also be informed about topics such as labor and collective bargaining law, occupational safety, environmental protection, and efficient energy use.

You will learn the basic skills and knowledge of manual and mechanical processing, as well as various forming and joining processes for different materials.

During your training, you will benefit from in-house instruction and regular further education opportunities.

The training content also includes:

production of components, maintenance of operating resources, control technology, rigging, transportation and securing, assembly and disassembly of components and assemblies, planning and preparation of assembly and disassembly processes, production of metal connections, cutting and forming, surface treatment and protection, setting up and operating machine tools and production systems.

In addition, you will acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge at vocational school. We also provide intensive support for your exam preparation.
