    Academic Pediatric Radiology Physician in New York
    StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $

    Merritt Hawkins is representing a major Academic Medical Center in Upstate New York to expand their established Pediatric Radiology faculty. This is an opportunity to join a growing yet clinically matured division of pediatric imaging specialists who need a minimum of two additional faculty to join their team. In addition to a vigorous and diverse clinical service, there is the opportunity to participate in teaching a group of highly motivated general radiology residents as well as other Pediatric specialties in the academic setting. With such a diverse base of pediatric patients and a broad base of pathology there is the potential to participate and further develop clinical and collaborative research between other strong academic divisions.

    Just a few of the summary points of this position:
    • Department of Radiology has 34 faculty and is presently expanding services across the board
    • Division of Pediatric-Radiology is bringing on two additional pediatric faculty with potential for further expansion as all of the pediatric services continue to expand with the new Childrens Hospital
    • 100% Pediatric and Broad spectrum of cases
    • Excellent relationship and collaboration with Pediatric Specialists at University Hospital who truly appreciate the consultative approach of the Pediatric Radiologists
    • Great group of general radiology residents who do preliminary patient workups
    • Excellent teaching opportunity with a full-time shadow resident, other pediatric specialties, and fellows
    • Excellent group of senior-level pediatric faculty who have fine-tuned the overall pediatric imaging service
    • All new pediatric equipment including MRI, Dual Scan CT, US specialized for pediatrics
    • Superb practice setting to continue to learn in a real-time high volume and a wide variety of patient flow
