Job Description

The Field Engineer is primarily responsible for aiding the project staff in the preconstruction and construction stages of a project.

The Field Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, and or Superintendent with the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of the project(s) to meet time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions.

The Field Engineer is to provide overall leadership for on-site field administration, supervision and technical management for all construction operations, including direct supervision of foremen,

trade/subcontractors

and other construction-related personnel.

Minimum Requirements
Four (4) year degree in an accredited construction related curriculum (BSCE, BSCM, BSAE, etc.) preferred. Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
At least one (1) year of professional development experience through a formal cooperative education program or internship preferred.

Demonstrated ability in these areas:
interpersonal skills, computer skills, ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral.
Proficient in PC-based scheduling and spreadsheet applications

These include:
CMiC, Primavera, Excel and Word.
Valid driver's license required.
