Your mission:


  • Overseeing the editorial process to ensure a smooth and highquality photo/video service in close collaboration with the Supervising Editors and Managing Editors teams.
  • Editing photos, videos, and other visual content related to editorial services, with a focus on the Sports field.
  • Assisting editors and photographers/videographers in decisionmaking and quality control, particularly for EPA Sport production.
  • Selecting, researching, writing, or improving headlines/captions and processing photos and videos.
  • Responding to breaking news and news developments, initiating coverage and obtaining images and handouts.
  • Identifying and resolving issues, including corrections or removal of photos, under the guidance of the Editorial Team, specifically the Managing Editor in charge of Sports.
  • Working with the team responsible for Social Media channels and website updates.
  • Providing constructive feedback on coverage as part of a team.
  • Ensuring compliance with EPA's policies, style, and quality standards.
  • Continuously optimizing and developing the overall editorial process in coordination with the Managing Editors, particularly the Managing Editor in charge of Sports, under the guidance of the Editor in Chief.
  • Participating in the overnight oncall rotation.

Your profile:


  • Ideally, a degree in Photography, Journalism, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience as a photo and/or video editor.
  • Excellent news sense and uptodate knowledge of sports events.
  • Exceptional editing and copywriting skills.
