What Will Be Your Environment:

Strategically located in the heart of Southern California's medical device industry, the 53,000 square-foot facility is equipped with test laboratories for device testing and benchmarking, prototyping and development, and clean rooms for volume production with around 120 employees.


What You'll Do:

As a Secondary Operations Lead, you will be responsible for the oversight of technicians as well as tracking the work flow and scheduling the daily jobs of all secondary operations technicians.

You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.


What We're Looking For:


  • Create a daily work schedule for all direct reports.
  • Monitor employees' breaks and meal periods.
  • Communicates with supervisor when employees arrive tardy, leave early without notices and call off for work.
  • Provides supervisor with input when making a hiring and/or conversion decision for contract employees or direct hires.
  • Schedule priorities for jobs to be run daily.
  • Train or assign a trainer for new employee training.
  • Review all paperwork for any discrepancies prior to leaving the area.
  • Manage product flow from production and quality department to packaging area.
  • Maintain work in progress inventory on a weekly basis.
  • Monitor progress and follow up with employees when they are not performing to acceptable levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Skills That Make a Difference:


  • Successful completion of 4years of high school, or equivalent and reflecting advancement potential.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Expertise in the use of measurement tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel and be able to follow simple instructions.
