We are seeking a skilled Jet Vac Operator to join our team.
As a Jet Vac Operator, you will play a vital role in providing essential maintenance and cleaning services for wastewater and sewer systems.
Your expertise in operating jet/vac trucks and your commitment to maintaining a high level of safety and professionalism will contribute to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities:
- Operate jet/vac trucks to clean and maintain sewer lines, storm drains, catch basins, and other wastewater systems.
- Safely navigate to job sites and operate equipment in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections of jet/vac trucks, ensuring proper maintenance and reporting any issues.
- Operate highpressure water jets and vacuum systems to remove debris, roots, and blockages from pipelines.
- Work closely with team members to coordinate and complete tasks efficiently.
- Properly dispose of wastewater and debris collected during cleaning operations in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Monitor equipment performance and adjust settings as needed to ensure effective operation.
- Document work performed, equipment usage, and any issues encountered during operations.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Communicate with supervisors, clients, and colleagues regarding job progress and any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, etc.).
- Proven experience in operating jet/vac trucks or similar heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with wastewater systems, sewer maintenance, and cleaning procedures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to address equipment issues.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
