Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Jet Vac Operator to join our team.

As a Jet Vac Operator, you will play a vital role in providing essential maintenance and cleaning services for wastewater and sewer systems.

Your expertise in operating jet/vac trucks and your commitment to maintaining a high level of safety and professionalism will contribute to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

Operate jet/vac trucks to clean and maintain sewer lines, storm drains, catch basins, and other wastewater systems.
Safely navigate to job sites and operate equipment in compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
Perform routine inspections of jet/vac trucks, ensuring proper maintenance and reporting any issues.
Operate highpressure water jets and vacuum systems to remove debris, roots, and blockages from pipelines.
Work closely with team members to coordinate and complete tasks efficiently.
Properly dispose of wastewater and debris collected during cleaning operations in accordance with environmental regulations.
Monitor equipment performance and adjust settings as needed to ensure effective operation.
Document work performed, equipment usage, and any issues encountered during operations.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
Communicate with supervisors, clients, and colleagues regarding job progress and any concerns.

Qualifications:

Commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat, etc.).
Proven experience in operating jet/vac trucks or similar heavy equipment.
Familiarity with wastewater systems, sewer maintenance, and cleaning procedures.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to address equipment issues.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to following safety protocols.
Ability to maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
