Responsibilities:
Project Oversight:
As the project manager you will lead and manage horizontal aspects of civil and infrastructure construction, roads, utilities, grading, drainage, and detention.
You will be responsible for ensuring that these critical components of the project are executed efficiently to the highest of standards.
This includes coordinating with cross functional teams, closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
Analytics Integration:
Utilize analytics tools and methodologies to assess project performance comprehensively. By analyzing data, you will identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
Additionally, you will develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and track project progress.
Risk Management:
Proactively identify potential risks and challenges in the project and develop robust mitigation strategies to address them.
Conduct regular risk assessments to evaluate the evolving project landscape and adjust plans accordingly.
Budget and Resource Management:
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial and project schedule constraints. Your expertise in resource allocation will be essential in optimizing resources to meet project milestones and deadlines effectively.
Communication and Reporting:
Establish clear and effective communication effectively with both internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and challenges.
Quality Control:
Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction activities meet industry standards and project specifications.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any deviations from project requirements.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing construction projects.
Stay informed about industry best practices and incorporate them into project management strategies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager with a focus on civil construction.
- Prefer experienced with closed landfill site and their unique environmental and geotechnical challenges.
- Ability to coordinate with the activities of multiple parcel development simultaneously.
- Prefer regulatory agency interaction experience, especially with TCEQ.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using relevant analytics tools.
- Familiarity with the regulatory environment and construction standards in Houston, Texas.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Relevant project management experience is a plus.
Pay:
$100, $120,000.00 per year
