Our Position
The Office Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support with projects as needed.

The Office Coordinator may provide routine clerical and billing support, document, audit, and correct enrollment errors and triage and coordinate care for incoming participants.

Your Responsibilities

  • Answers telephones and acts as receptionist for program, triages phone calls and gathers pertinent information from callers to accurately log the data elements of each and every call.
  • Maintains an organized office filing system that assures confidentiality of all documents.
  • Ensures the facility reception areas are neat and orderly at all times.
  • Oversees the use, maintenance and repair of office equipment.
  • Maintains inventory and orders office supplies as needed.
  • Facilitates incoming referrals ensuring review and completeness for each referral.
  • Validates all client eligibility to ensure services provided are covered contractually.
Validates demographic/insurance information entered into system by staff is accurate and completed in a timely manner.

  • Assists with creating and generating reports as scheduled by the funder, or when needed.
  • Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Our Requirements

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of clerical experience, preferably in a health care environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.

  • Must be able to pass substance abuse testing and/or tuberculous testing (if applicable).
  • Must be able to pass education verification check.
  • Must be able to pass threeyear motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements criteria of insurance carrier (if driving is required for this position).
