Summary/Objective

Abode is dedicated to partnering with utilities and government agencies across New England to advance the adoption of decarbonization initiatives like air-source heat pumps. This involves offering outreach, education, consultations, and technical support to contractors, homeowners, community advocates, and other stakeholders.

The Program Coordinator will collaborate with a Program Manager to oversee the delivery of these services.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for someone eager to utilize their strong communication, analytical, and project management skills to help drive the environmental benefits of electrification.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with decarbonization contractors to enhance program capacity and increase contractor involvement
  • Schedule onboarding and check-in meetings
  • Identify engagement prospects and coordinate participation
  • Represent at in-person events as necessary
  • Facilitate connections between customers, contractors, and appropriate services
  • Provide ongoing support and resolutions for customer and contractor concerns
  • Maintain service levels and document solutions in Salesforce
  • Update program databases and customer management systems
  • Review contractor certifications regularly and ensure renewal
  • Coordinate contractor engagement with Residential Decarbonization Consultants
  • Update financial incentive and program rule databases
  • Support staff with administrative tasks and material creation
  • Collaborate daily with the program team and stakeholders
  • Aid in developing program materials and collateral
  • Engage with community organizations promoting decarbonization technologies
  • Provide regular reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze key performance indicators and program data
  • Prepare invoices and related reports
  • Generate and distribute monthly reports to the program team
  • Contribute to program enhancement and evolution
  • Adapt to evolving program requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance program delivery
  • Expand technical and program knowledge continuously

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for sustainability, building science, or climate change
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced office environment in project management or communications
  • Proficiency in software like Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Capability in customer relationship management tools such as Salesforce is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage
  • Ability to maintain composure in diverse situations
  • Flexible, collaborative team player with a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a total compensation between $55K and $65K, based on skills and experience.

The Program Coordinator will primarily work from home, with occasional travel (mileage/travel expenses covered) to the Abode office in Concord or for events/meetings.
