Bury Drop Technician

BROADBAND TELECOM SERVICES, INC.

JOB CLASSIFICATION: FULL-TIME

LOCATION: Aledo, Texas

REPORTS TO: Special Project Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

Bury Drop Technicians primary focus on the burial of CATV drop from the coaxial plant tap to the point of demarcation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

Use and have knowledge of CATV hand tools
Able to manipulate connectors, fasteners, and wire using hand tools
Perform assigned jobs using trenching shovels, concrete saws, and pickaxes
Conduct other duties such as clean up, salvage of wrecked out materials and provided general assistance to other employees as needed
Ensure safety guidelines are enforced and weekly safety topics are followed
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to kneel, crawl, push, pull, bend, stop, lift, and dig
This position is exposed to outside elements (rain, snow, sleet, and heat)
